The owner, Matt, noticed back in 1984 that there was a dearth of BBQ restaurants in Oakland so he decided to open his own barbecue joint. It’s not fancy but if you want to go somewhere where they’re going to give you some incredibly filling food at a nice price then this is your place; if you’re from out of town you should definitely try their ribs with all the sauce dripping off them!
